It began with a road trip down to MASSMoca in North Adams, Mass, to see the exhibitions of Anselm Kiefer and the Chinese artists, Xu Bing; amazing, stimulating and complicated, artworks by major contemporary artists of very different cultures. On the long drive back home, we began a conversation about the meaning of home. Mysterious connections were made, leading to envisioning a collaboration around the idea of Home.
